Afghan Alfouz Innovational Welfare Organization (AAIWO) was established in 2018 in Kabul, Afghanistan, with the aim of supporting vulnerable and marginalized communities affected by conflict, poverty, and humanitarian challenges. Since its establishment, AAIWO has worked to provide meaningful assistance and create sustainable solutions through community-based humanitarian and development programs.
In its early years, AAIWO focused on supporting communities through livelihood, agriculture, and social development initiatives, helping vulnerable households improve their resilience and access to essential resources. The organization implemented projects supporting farmers, women, and rural communities while strengthening its operational capacity.
Over the years, AAIWO expanded its programs into key sectors including health, nutrition, education, food security, WASH, and social welfare. The organization strengthened partnerships with national and international stakeholders and increased its ability to respond to the urgent needs of affected communities across Afghanistan.
From 2023 onward, AAIWO expanded its health and nutrition interventions through large-scale humanitarian programs, including healthcare service delivery projects in Kandahar, Farah, and Nangarhar provinces in partnership with other organizations and supported by international donors. These programs contributed to improving access to essential health and nutrition services for millions of vulnerable people.
Today, AAIWO continues to deliver humanitarian and development assistance across Afghanistan, working with communities, government institutions, UN agencies, and partners to improve lives, strengthen resilience, and promote dignity, equality, and sustainable development.
